Course approach

Oliver has some guiding principles for facilitating the course.

1. Be prepared at least 2-3 classes in advance. Allows you to be flexible enough to adjust for class interests.

2. Facilitate learning through discussion of the content

Class 1: Introduction

Add a run-down of how the class goes and links to any files or information the class facilitator would need.

For example.

1. introductions: why are they interested in the class and what are their backgrounds. [allows you to prepare additional content that might be of interest between classes.]

2. Overview. Show them the website with material you'll be discussing and going through each week.

3. Today's class.
